Sorry it's been a while since we've updated this blog. We've sort of had our hands full, but I think we might finally be getting into a groove!
So, some milestones we've hit: Jordan is now 13 lbs, 13 ounces, he's sleeping at least 5 hours at night, and we're about to start feeding him baby cereal.
And he's also found his voice. Man, can that kid squeal. He started "talking" with a few cute ohs and awes. But he's since graduated to full-on screaming. It's really cute for the first ten minutes.
I think it's his way of singing, personally, but it's also his way of getting our attention.
On an another note, Jon and I have discovered a couple with alarmingly similarities. They have a son named Aiden who was born the day before Jordan at the same hospital. The mom and I go to the same doctor group. They almost bought our house (before we swooped in and bought it!). She's from California and he's from the East Coast. They're a really cool couple. And it's nice to have some friends in the hood who can relate to what we're going through! Every time we see them, we kvetch over the lack of sleep, the fact that it takes an hour to get out of the house, etc.
All in all, things have been good. Jordan even went to his first Halloween party dressed as a monkey.
I'm astounded over how much he's changed in a month. I can't wait to see what he'll be like next month!
