Man, so much to update everyone on! It's been a while (again, sorry) and a lot has happened. Actually, a ton has happened. Ok, where to start...
First of all, we moved to Houston. I got a job working with a Website called Biztools, which is run by Administaff. It's a much better opportunity and in the end, it made a lot of sense because it effectively gets us closer to family. Jordan has handled the move remarkably well. And he's so aware of his surroundings, so I'm pleasantly surprised at how well he's handled it.
We've been in Houston about four weeks now, and in those four weeks Jordan has: learned to crawl really, really fast; stand up on his own; climb stairs; wave; and clap. His development has been lightening-fast. He also has two little teeth, which came in around February. I think he might be getting some more soon, because he's been drooling more than a labotomy patient.
He's now 9 months old. He weighs about 18 pounds, which still seems small to me. But the pediatrician told us not to worry at this point since he still has a lot of growing to do. And his weight isn't due to a lack of eating, because let me tell ya--that kid can eat.
He also got his first major cold about three weeks ago, the aftereffects of which we're still dealing with. He had a fever and then later on developed a cough and congestion. He's still dealing with the congestion and the past couple of nights, he's been waking up at 3 am crying. I think it's because he can't breathe. Poor baby. Needless to say, it's been challenging for me to stay awake and functionaly at work. Poor mommy.
That's all folks! We'll keep you posted as he takes those first steps!
