I am beyond thrilled to say Jordan is finally sleeping through the night. On a typical night, we'll put him to bed around 8 pm and he'll sleep until about 2 to 3 am. I'll usually feed him around this time, and he usually sleeps until 6 or so. It's been beyond glorious.
The first time it happened, however, it freaked Jon and I out. We both woke up in a panic at 3 am and looked at each other. "Have you gone to check on him?" we asked each other simultaneously. Jon leapt out of bed and went to see if Jordan was still breathing. Thankfully, he was and naturally, we had nothing to worry about. We just hadn't been in the habit of sleeping, oh I don't know, four hours at a time.
So, I'm happy to say, we've finally got a routine down and he's sleeping through the night for the most part.
He also rolled from his tummy to his back for the first time last week. We were thrilled. He even did it while he was at Mimi's house for Thanksgiving. He has yet to do it again, however. He gets really frustrated when he's on his belly. But we're working on it.
Well, I'm off to bed. Jon and I have been fighting a cold for the past couple of days and I think we may have passed it on to Jordan. He has a runnier nose than usual and has been raspy when he breathes. I hope it doesn't bother him too much. I'm really getting used to the sleep...
